Michael Kealy Corrects Knockdown Case

Michael Kealy was successful in an amendment motion. Michael was retained by LawPRO to act as the agent for the plaintiff’s lawyer to amend the statement of claim to add various parties to an action. This action concerned an alleged pedestrian knockdown by a taxi cab, and Michael was hired to bring this motion to correct the name of the taxi driver, and to add West-Way Taxi on the basis of discoverability. The latter relief was opposed, and Michael was successful with his argument that the plaintiff could not have discovered the involvement of West-Way until her lawyer received the police file.
