Ramon Andal, an MMW Counsel, spoke in a series of webinars in English and other first languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese) on the topics of human rights and employment rights (March 18, 2021). Guest speakers included human rights’ and employment rights’ lawyers.
Additionally, two English webinars were held for families on the topic of talking to kids about racism (March 20, 2021). Guest speakers included psychologists, social workers, teachers and art therapists.
Both events were presented by ACT2endracism (Asian Canadians Together to end racism) Network in partnership with the ACCT Foundation – Honour March 21st International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
