Bronwyn Martin was successful in bringing a summary judgment motion in favour of a contractor who was engaged in clearing snow from a municipal sidewalk when a plaintiff slipped and fell in the area where the work was being done. The court agreed that the plaintiff had not shown that the snow removal contractor was negligent and the summary judgment was granted, dismissing the action.
